'08 GMC Sierra HD

The 2008 GMC Sierra HD continues the legacy of heavy-duty pickup trucks that are as formidable in their performance as they look. The 2008 Heavy Duty is the end result of a number of revisions from the 2007 model year in an effort to enhance the already considerable popularity of the HD.

The V8 gas engine of the 2008 HD still roars with power its 6.0 liter engine. However, what buyers find most appealing about the Heavy Duty versions of the Sierra is the range of choices and configurations of the vehicle. The interior itself comes in two options – a “Luxury” cabin and a “Full Pickup” cabin.

Other choices offered in the 2008 GMC Sierra HD include at least three options regarding the cargo box styling and five lengths of the wheelbase. If that wasn’t reason enough, the makers added a power-adjustability feature to the driver’s seat.

The 2007 GMC Sierra HD exhibits something special that owners greatly appreciate – incredible power. The HD stands for heavy-duty, signifying that this range of pickup trucks has been designed to deliver high-end performance and capable of pulling and hauling huge loads thanks to its upgraded powertrain.

The 2007 Sierra HD now comes with an upgraded version of the previous model year’s Duramax V8 engine with turbochargers. The new engine has an improved horsepower of 365hp and is coupled with an six speed automatic transmission.. The 2007 Model is not provided with manual transmission.

Considering that the 2007 GMC Sierra HD has an enhanced towing capacity, one might ask how it handles trailers. The answer is simple – the anti-lock braking system is now extended to connect with the trailer brakes.

Packages include an off-road configuration package. Multiple airbags including side airbags are provided, increasing the safety quotient considerably.
